Multistate pharmacy licensing, without the paralegal hours.

PharmKeeper takes pharmacies through nonresident permits and pharmacists through state license transfers — researched, assembled, tracked. A named human always signs; a board always decides. We do the paperwork your board makes you do, with a source URL behind every checkbox.

Why this is hard right now

Pharmacy is the only major US health profession with no interstate licensure compact. Every state is its own application, its own law exam, its own fee — and 2026 added two moving targets on top.

51separate licensing regimes. No compact exists; each board sets its own rules, fees, and exams.
16+states now require a nonresident pharmacy's PIC to hold that state's individual license — California effective July 2026, Illinois January 2026.
MPJE → UMPJENABP is mid-rollout replacing the MPJE with a Uniform MPJE. Which exam a board wants now depends on when you apply.
$400+burned per wrong-order filing: eLTP fees are non-refundable and applications can't be edited after submission.

Sources verified 2026-10-12 against NABP and state board primary sources — see the PIC Multistate Map for per-state citations.

How PharmKeeper works

An AI agent engine does what agents are good at — reading 51 board websites, keeping requirement matrices current, diffing rule changes daily. Humans do everything that legally and morally requires a human.

The engine (autonomous)

  1. Daily regulatory diff — all 51 boards, NABP, and the Federal Register; changes flagged within 24 hours.
  2. Requirement matrix — every fee, form, exam, and prerequisite carried with a last-verified timestamp and source URL.
  3. Packet assembly — applications pre-filled from your master profile, attachments checked off.
  4. Tracking — submission status, deficiency-letter triage drafts, renewal calendars across every state you touch.

The humans (always in the loop)

  • ✔ A named human signs everything. We never sign, never attest — your PIC and owners sign under their own penalties of perjury, after reading a pre-signature diff.
  • ✔ A licensed pharmacist reviews every state batch before it ships to you.
  • ✔ Outside counsel reviews our scope language quarterly. We prepare applications against published requirements; we don't interpret law or give legal opinions — anything requiring interpretation routes to partner counsel.
  • ✔ Data security: encryption at rest, least-privilege access, per-client isolation, deletion on request.
What we never promise: there is no multistate license and no guarantee of issuance — boards decide. We don't tutor exam content, don't broker PIC-license-for-hire schemes, and don't take clients under board investigation or discipline. If a requirement can't be re-verified within 30 days, we flag it stale and won't build on it.
